One large group of jewellry are buckles for sashes, called differently in different areas. They are worn on a woven sash, most often made of metal (silver, copper, bronze, brass), but there are also ones made of sterling silver, strung glass beads or pearls. Mother-of-pearl, semi- precious stones or fake gemstones come as an additional decorative material. They come in many different shapes which are not characteristic just for one area, but all these shapes can be met on the same territory. In Sebian ethnic regions we can most often find shapes like almond, round, rectangular and many others.
