Women wore a small cap called vrsta, which covered the head from forehead to the nape and it was completely covered with old silver money. Beside vrsta, women wore prevez, too. Prevez was of trapeze shape, made of domestic red linen woven in two threads, called vajkar linen. Red foundation of the linen is embroidered with silver sterling- manistra (tiny glass grains in many colours), kositrica (small, tiny metal circles) and koskička (multi-coloured small buttons). Patterns and ornaments are very rich on the whole prevez. Most represented ornaments are herbal (flowers, vine, leaves) and geometric (circle, rhombus, triangle, square, curved lines).
