Brown or snake embroidery is a special embroidery technique practiced by women in this area. Some of its basic characteristics are:
    -use of only one color when binding, black or navy blue,
    -use of the most common embroidery technique - crosses,
    -its symmetry of geometric ornaments.
In addition to the motif of the cross as the most commonly used ornament, the motifs of circles (rhombuses) and flowers, the motif of a branch, the motif of a hook are common in the snake embroidery ... Each of the represented motifs had its own symbolism and meaning.
